This show is pretty amazing top to bottom. If someone were just getting into Goose, I would steer here. Having grown up with Phish, I think these jams are easily equal if not better than Phish at their peak. Say to me Santos? Come on.

agree with the guy saying the crowd was lame, but the show was absolutely killer. this was my first and i got the this old sea i was chasing, and caught one of the best jams i’ve ever heard recorded OR live in Pancakes. Train was a paid actor. Cool to hear the radiohead cover and Escape

This honestly feels like a totally different band than 2-3 years ago. Take the Pancakes - Rick locks in on a punchy riff about 7 mins in, could have taken that peak the whole way and I’d have been happy. But he backs off around 8 mins in, airs it out with Peter for 5 or so mins, and it pays off huge in the last 10 mins of the song. Such patience! Seriously different than a few years ago. Love it!

Show was what I expected on a Tuesday night in Raleigh. Weak AF. We always get weak AF set list in Raleigh. Doesn’t matter who it is. The days of having a setlist like Phish ‘97 are gone. Time to pour one out for the homies.

Man, fans are quick to play the boy (or girl, or person) who cried JOTY and jerk off standard jams but I will say, this pancakes hype is deserved. Very solid. JOTY, no, but pretty damn good.
