Reviews for Umphrey's McGee: 7/16/2022 The Werk Out Music & Arts Festival, Thornville, OH

That Mulche’s is a whitewater ride, a bawdy brawl of foam and stone, a crashing current of flood-stage flow, blasting thru the arroyo risking life and limb, until, with a deft flick of the paddle, your guide steers you into slack water for a moment, to let you catch your breath. And you’d better draw a deep breath because the rest of the ride picks up the pace until it bursts its banks and you’re left adrift in an oceanic vista. Finally the home shore beckons and you stand, drenched and dripping, wondering what the hell just happened...

Yo coolest show front to back I've heard since before the pandemic. So pleased they are sounding so much more relaxed and motivated to extend things. The extended Floor improv was especially surprising. EXCELLENT show.

Wow! This is an epic show. You can tell they are feeling it as Brendan calls the crowd eclectic and inspiring. Must have been a scene! Solid upbeat jams. And the new songs are fitting in so nice now.
