Reviews for The String Cheese Incident: 8/11/2007 Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO

This was one of the best nights of my life. Perfect setlist. Brilliantly played. Peak Productions was in full effect. Show highlights include Little Hands opener, Close Your Eyes > Bam! > Close Your Eyes, Betray the Dark (great new song).

The second set could possibly be the best Cheese set ever (definitely the best I`ve ever witnessed), but if I had to pick highlights from this set, it would go something like this: Desert Dawn > Rivertrance (This segue is phenomenal. The Desert Dawn jam is amazing, and this show is really all about the Rivertrance. Peak Productions brought trapeze artists, fire poi dancers, etc. In other words, the show was not only going on on stage. IT was happening next to the stage, out in the crowd, on the rocks, EVERYWHERE!.). Bend Down Low brought us all back down to Earth, and was its usual groovy reggae self. Dirk > Drums was a great jam, and kept this party movin. It Is What It Is is always a treat. I felt like Kang was singing about all the freeks dancin on the rocks! Hotel Window brought us back to reality again with Nershi`s poignant lyrics. This Must Be The Place. Need I say more? Big Shoes. Other worldly jam, lights on the rocks, lasers. Are you f`n kidding me?!?! ...and we`re back to Desert Dawn. Great transition. Great way to end the set. For the encore, we went over The Bridge to see How Mountain Girls Can Love. I have nothing bad to say about this set.

I don`t think it would be going too far to say that this is one the greatest concerts of all time. 10/10. Listen to this show!!! Thank you Cheese. We love you!!!!

I only made it to this night and what a night it was. The light shows, Dancers, and trapieze artist. Just so amazing what a band from Colorado can do with the beautiful music and a beautiful venue thank you so much for that weekend. I will never forget it can`t wait to see you again. Cause you know they can`t stay broken up for ever there are way to many cheese heads to let that happen am I right.

This was my last show, had to catch a plane early Sunday morning, but what a show it was. Just a dribble of rain was falling as they went into Know You Rider which made the moment even more enjoyable. The jams were incredible, the scene was electric and the place...well Red Rocks was placed there by a higher power. Thanks for all the memories, to the band and the fans and (crossing my fingers) I hope to see us all together again somewhere down the road

To String Cheese, its crew and staff, thank you for the great memories and experiences you have bestowed upon us throughout your existence. Your art has touched my soul and I know the same for countless others as well. Your efforts and energy will not go forgotten. I hope the best for each one of you in your journeys in the future. This was my last show and I got to share it with my sister as her first concert ever. She really liked you guys. Thanks again, Namaste.
