Reviews for Widespread Panic: 2/14/2011 Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA

Let me start by saying Monday at the Fox was an incredible show. The energy level was full throttle. I was there, so I can attest to that fact. I know it is easy to be critical of a show you heard from your living room. Sometimes you just have to be there to really appreciate a show. I have listened to this show again and enjoyed it as much, if not more than Monday. I have read complaints about Jimmy being on a leash, just not true. This show was unlike most "Panic" shows. It was much more "bluesy", which was awesome! It is nice to get a show that isn't wide open from get to go, that's easy to do. I thought it showed another side of Panic we don't often get. Keep it up! It proves they aren't a one trick pony, which apparently some of you want. If you want a truly awesome show, download this show NOW!

Always a great time with the boys. This show was a great Monday night show. I could tell they had Jimmy on a leash though, so it was more mellow. The setlist looks better than the actual show, but Jennifer and I had a great valentines day. I was at at least 8 shows last year that smoked this one in terms of energy etc... but again we always have a blast. Thanks to the boys for being a common thread throughout our lives.

Excited to see the boys in Louisville for 2 nights, hoping for more G Dead covers! China Cat maybe?

JW you must be crazy man. Jimmy was absolutely on fire on Valentine's Day. He smoked harder at the Fox then he did in Athens and that is saying something because he tore the roof off the mother at the Classic Center. Thanks for 20 years of memories boys, I try to quit ya but I just can't do it. I love you guys more than words can say. Congratulations on the honor from the Georgia Senate, That is some tall company you are in with James Brown and Ray Charles. You deserve it. Keep on kickin' and enjoy the 2012 vacation but you better come back. Don't make me come lookin' for ya. Much Love and thanks again for 20 years of goodness and satisfaction.

One of my favorite shows! Very happy to see the Stained Souls (Col. Bruce & Tinsley) return at Atlanta's most historic theater--couldn't have picked a better place or time for that to happen.
