I request the administrators remove the posting by "Too Shockin to See" re: Trey. First of all, it`s inaccurate (Trey`s Red Rocks `02 run was phenomenal); second, the post has absolutely relevance to Panic or the Boone show. Please feel free to remove this post as well if/when you take the negativity off this site. Shame on you, "too shockin."

What a way to celebrate the autumnal equinox! I agree with the previous posts praising the music and the crowd but disparaging the venue...no beer? c`mon. My highlights were Jojo`s drum solo followed by him throwing a stick at JB as well as the ad-lib lyrics in Life During Wartime: "you look exhausted/ I`ve got some [caffeine]." Ribs and Whiskey was so sweet, and who can forget JB saying "For a minute there, the band was SEVEN" after Barstools...that chick was at least chill...she didn`t try to bum-rush any of the boys once she got up there, just happy to be alive. Of course, as several folks have already observed, B of D was particularly poignant considering the locale. Hope to see y`all in Charleston.

But, at the Asheville show they played Genesis, North, Dirty Business, Stop-Go, Porch, all in the 1st set....pretty hard to beat for a long time fan. There was also a good Pilgrims and Ribs & Whiskey in the 2nd...not to mention a 4 song encore with Gotta Get Out of this Place for the 1st time. But, everyone takes someting different from each show. The conitinuity and vibes were excellent in Asheville. Don`t get me wrong, every WSP show is an experience.

In response to wrangler...
This show had much better energy than Asheville. The sound was better, the people were better, everything was better.

Show was unbelievable. Who cares that the audience was a bunch of college kids. Boone was definitely special for all the Booners and I feel we recieved the panic very well. I mean c`mon, the crowd all stayed put during drums and clapped along with JoJo`s crazy antics. Todd was also really excited about the Ribs & Whiskey.

Not my favorite show of the year. I take that back. Not my favorite venue. I love Boone and went to ASU twice. The setlist was fine, but I just wasn`t feeling it this time. The crowd was mainly college kids, not the diversity I`m used to now. I went to Asheville, Red Rocks, and Charlotte, and nothing can top the Asheville show on 5/7/05. That was the most energy I`ve felt at a show and it left my expectations high. You had to have an armband to get on the floor in Boone. That was kind of a bummer too.

Very energetic show! Upbeat first set with awesome Hatfield and Junior! Second set opened with B of D, first one in a long time! Drum jam with JoJo drumming on cabinet! Altogether a very awesome show, as well as emotional since Mikey`s passing, a fellow boonian! Definately a recomended download, this was my fourth show this year and this one has been the best one yet!
