Mind left jam coming out of Eyes was a nice surprise, Mick adding that marimba tone?

These 85 Birdsongs are just great…

These were hometown shows for me, went both nights. I would turn 20 yrs old later this week. I was so into this band in ‘84-‘85. There’s people who don’t like ‘85, that’s just nuts. Jerry is liquid fast in ‘85, he was never able to get back this speed after the Summer of ‘86. The second solo in Sugaree is all you need know, this stuff is pure unadulterated fire, 1985 Is a peak year for Grateful Dead

Another fine 85 show. Really enjoyed both sets.

Wow that Sugaree! Jerry really gives it his all. Bird Song soars. Roses is beautiful and Let It Grow provides more Jerry shredding
