The greatest Daytripper you’ll hear. Hell of a show. Another gem.

This is a great show with many blissful highlights. I might be partial to the Oade Bros.' field recording, but this sounds good, good, good...Clark. Check out Jerry’s liftoff during the solo in Candyman. Second set vibe is meditative with Jerry grooving during the drums sequence. Hold on when they click into Day Tripper.

This was an excellent show. I recall a blizzard going over the bridge on the way to Portland. If my memory serves me correctly, Jerry stayed on stage and jammed during drums and the Playing in the Band reprise before they started back at the beginning and ended in Day Tripper with some great crowd interaction as the song builds. One of my favorites from 1985.

Now I am salivating for the Nassau ‘85 box set. Thank you for all of these wonderful 1985 releases. Keep them coming.

To this day, this Daytripper remains the single most ingrained moment in my Dead touring history. The energy in that arena was off the charts with the house lights on every time they got to the crescendo. The playback does not do it justice.
