2/20/85
Straight out of the traps with a Cold Rain and Snow opener.
Jer's voice carries.
It's an incredible outing for one of my favourite Dead tracks.
The musicianship is precise here.
We're treated to a real high energy show.
It's like a foretelling man, real electric.
The CRS solo picks, kicks and packs.
Day Tripper is a real vibe, I can't place how many times the Dead shot this, but I know it wasn't altogether that much.
West LA Fadeaway is always a hoot.
There's a slow draw.
It's a real stretcher man.
Keeps the float.
Solid Phil Bombs - one of my favourite West LA Fadeaways.
Looks Like Rain justifies Bobby's down and out vocals on the night, because he delivers this like a smooth croon.
This show is a love letter to the often over looked, underrated and indefatigable mid 80s Dead.
Don't sleep on it.
