“Playing > Crazy Fingers > Franklin's Tower highlights a beautiful second set before Black Peter > Lovelight and Baby Blue.” Seriously! Let’s be objective here. The previous show, Friday at Brendan Byrne Arena, was a smoking show. One of the best of ‘88. But two nights later (Easter Sunday) in Hartford was one of the worst shows of ‘88. Yes Jerry’s voice is obviously shot and Jerry wasn’t happy either. Many recall him throwing his mc to the floor during Black Peter. We enjoyed the circus that Sunday night, but the music was less than “beautiful”.

Never cared for that building’s acoustics…that said, it was a very tight show - No long jams. Very upbeat. Jerry left his voice in Jersey, but the band was on point. Was a birthday show - Cops in the isles was a trip??????This recording is phenomenal. Thanks!?? ????????

Jerry toughing it out with a cold. He didn't want to let us down. His voice may be rough but he still rips it up on Guitar. Love his Deadication!!
