I’ve seen Billy quite a few times now. This was by far without question the single most psychedelic Bluegrass show I’ve ever been to in my life.

The whole show was unreal but that half hour of Turmoil & Tinfoil might be his best example of that song to date. Absolutely nuts

I don’t know of anybody working harder than these group of fella’s here. There’s probably a million notes in this set alone and to play a different set every town, SHEESH!

This was an extremely special show that will likely become part of the ‘must-listen’ list for new Billy fans.
For context, this is the last stop on tour before he heads to Michigan (home) to play there for the first time since the 2025 Charlotte Bluegrass festival, which was the night his mother passed just one year ago. She was very clearly on his mind this night.
I don’t know what has happened to AMFH lately but he is on A. WHOLE. OTHER. LEVEL. That T&T solo gave me fucking nightmares in real time. Triggered visions of the money scene in the original Wizard of Oz that scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Unreal show.

It was a thrill to groove with the boys again, and they played their hearts out this weekend. The crowd was engaged and the scene was full of great vibes. Thank you for the sweet memories boys! ??
