What a show. Shakedown solo has the funk and soul that make that underrated gem a priceless live piece. You can hear the crowd just living on those notes. Jerry's vocals on Candyman are haunting man, real beautiful. Just this real spirit in his voice when he says "come in from Memphis"... Greatest Story Ever Told is one of my favourite Dead tracks. Alongside BEW and Deal I'm always heavy into any outing those cuts get and this GSET is just a knockout. There's chops. And then there's MSG chops. X
