I’ve been fortunate enough to see Sturgill with his different bands on tour after each of his albums (minus the bluegrass albums that weren’t toured on during COVID). I’ve always been amazed how well he’s adapted his older material for his contemporary sound. Unfortunately, O didn’t get to see the band on this tour because the Asheville show had to be canceled after Helene. I think it’s his best band and sound yet. I’ve been listening to most of the shows put up on Nugs and for me this one is the winner so far. Amazing show with many tight jams. Keep it up and come back to WNC!
