I’ve wrote my reviews on shows from all eras, I’ve studied the significance but as a college student who just recently found the band about 2 years ago I can’t explain the way Widespread makes me feel. I know y’all know this feeling, That sense of understanding that music is more than just the song, and how a band can capture that emotion. Music is not something to be meddled with, it’s delicate, persuasive and ALIVE. It’s a drug, it’s a beginning, it’s an end, it’s what makes us whole. Thank you to Widespread Panic for bringing me joy day in and day out, for being my drug. More importantly, for capturing the way music makes us feel. You understand it. Again, this show really is that good. See y’all in Boston and Savannah.

Just viewed this on Nugs, I must say the single best performance by WSMFP, by far. They could just hang it up after this one. I think they were impressed by just how talented they all are. The 6 headed monster is growing to new heights.

Not a hater at all, but definitely a Mikey guy till the end of time. That being said that is the best post Mikey show I have been too. Excellent deep cuts. Resisted the urge to play tail dragger and overused pieces like protein drink / sewing machine. That was impressive, and I'm hard to impress. Open with the 1st song they ever played for an audience. Papas>WWEOH>Junior>Vacation to honor family day. Flewzy group hug. Open the 2nd set with the song JB said "We didn't write it, but it really happened". Guilded>Machine>Barstools, Coconut is as good a 4 song stretch as you'll ever hear. Coconuts, the 1st song they wrote as a band. The final 3 and encore ?? Absolutely fabulous show that had it all. Most fun I've had in a long time.
