I have to agree with you mate: this has to be the most pristine second set in Dead & Co's catalogue. The Days Between is what really clenches it for me, adds emotional depth after a lot of intense jamming. When Cumberland Blues began, I remember clearly the shared feeling that the inmates had really taken over the asylum and everyone was dancing as intense as I'd seen the entire night!

Best second set of all time and possibly best overall show. I can't express how much I love this band - phenomenal! Thanks for all the music.

One of the best Help On The Way's they've done together.

Sat up in the nosebleeds behind home plate after the show and took it all in. Pure Magic in the air, SF was the center of the universe for 3 days in July

Magical night! Jumped on the bus back in '87 and this just felt so special to be in SF for this show. The energy of the crowd and band was beyond imagination. Smiles, good vibes, and happy dancing all night long.

Superb show all the way through. Mayer in the groove, jazzy throughout. Wier continues to prove he’s the best rhythm player maybe ever. Upbeat and rollicking from the beginning to the end. Have really come to love this version of The Dead.

I just got done listening to Eyes of the World three times with headphones. It is transcendent!
Everything that makes the Dead so special, and it showed what John Mayer brought to the tour.
It brings me to tears every time.
