The Eyes was top tier. SECOND SET A LOT OF BOBBY ?? The Otiel Fire on The Mountain. Just a master class first set and second set. CUMBERLAND BLUES!!!! This was the fourth show I’ve been to and I was blown away. My mom and I went to the show together last minute and were talking about a women are smarter opener on the drive up (I mistook it for iko iko at first). The energy was tangible and the band looked so alive and into it. I’m happy it seemed they were having as great of a time as the rest that were in attendance. Beautiful music start to end, please let there always be songs to fill the air.

Was in attendance and my whole group had their faces properly melted off. Dark Star V1 > El Paso was unforgettable, Estimated > Eyes was on fire, and Space > Dark Star V2 was super trippy. There were a few feedback issues and flat moments, but overall a stellar show if you're looking to lose your face.

Part 3 at Citizens Bank. Return of the Jedi. Another electric, nuanced performance from the boys. Nods to the recent anniversary of Working Man’s Dead. The lyrical motif of “women” was sprinkled throughout the first set… a nebulous Dark Star bloomed into an otherworldly El Paso… Bobby’s delivery harkened back to the early West Texas country rockers. Beautiful, and a wild juxtaposition from his “King Lear-esque” glory in the impossible quasar grooves of Estimated. The pit was steamy on this night and a stately Fire on the Mountain opened set 2. I thought it was a write-in because moments before a young lady (likely dehydrated) had dropped and had to be taken out by a medic. Deadheads take care of each other and I parted the seas of like a prophet should. Loved the R
