And Bobby’s guitar sounds so much better than the previous night’s mix.

This fuckin band has found serious legs   (5/24/2023 7:17:49 AM)

Don’t miss the shows. Let’s hope they come back just like this one more time. A fever dream stretching out across the county like a spritzy mist. Take a double dose. Bring the family.

That Birdsong has to be the greatest piece of music D

   Sometimes a great notion   (5/23/2023 3:14:59 PM)

I had floor seats next to the mixing board and I was on 2 tabs of acid at this show. I dropped them at 6:20 pm and started peaking when they began the first set around 7:30 pm To say this show was transcendental is an understatement. When I listened back to this show sober, I knew that it would’ve been transcendental no matter what substance one could be on. The band was in peak form this night! John Mayer’s playing all night was otherworldly. Mickey and Jay were playing to the beat of the universe. The other one suite, Birdsong and Slipknot had some of the most insane face-melting, psychedelic jams ever played. And oh my god that Drums was one of the best ever done. Bringing Steve Perrish out to join was so sweet. At one point Mickey was playing alone and the bass frequency he had rumbling was so intense I could feel it in my soul. It was incredible to experience on acid. All the lights and visuals were first-rate. The sold-out crowd was dancing from the floor to the roof all night. It was a beautiful energy all night. Having listened to their performance from the night before (5/19/23) it is clear that this second night was the better of the two. It was their last time playing LA and they went out giving it their all. Wow. Wow. Wow. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the tour. These guys are on a very special psychedelic musical wave that they’re all tapped into right now. This tour will be legendary.

What a show! Both nights of LA were super hot, the boys are throwing down some of the best stuff since they started…. Sorry Billy but it’s true, boys are on fire

It makes me very sad to know that this is the last tour that we’ll hear John playing and singing some of these songs. Glad we’ve got these recordings to come back to as time moves on. Brokedown Palace is a gem
