Saw Augustana opening for CC a few years ago and Adam really talked them up. Bought the CD at the concert- a great band! They opened again at this concert and I was equally impressed. 2 CC band members were out for this performance, I believe because of recent births in the family (congrats!), and there were other musicians filling in, as well as members of Augustana filtering in and out for various numbers. This was one fun concert. I really felt that I saw something unique and special. What a bunch of pros--they made it really entertaining with some new takes on things. At times, it felt like you were sitting around in someone's garage with your buddies that are really talented with music. I request that the band make Augustana a permanent opening act! Even better, I'd like to see these 2 bands in a twin billing. I would pay big money to see CC and Augustana do an acoustic set in a small venue. Do not miss this one!
