Full disclosure: this is more of a stream of consciousness commentary than a review
Is it blasphemous to say that Oteil is just as good if not occasionally better than Phil Lesh? I first saw him with the Allmans in 2009 and 2013 and I was blown away haha just made a deadhead pun and I didn’t even know it. ‘ITLL BLOW AWAY’ man they should play Brent songs, but I guess no one in the band has that gravelly voice needed for them except Bobby and he might not want to do Brent songs for some reason. Wow this is good smoking music

Literally the best concert we’ve ever been been to. I’ve seen a lot of great shows from Pink Floyd to Bad Religion, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Sade to Pennywise. I’ve seen a lot of Dead and Company shows. This is a masterpiece of music. Amazing!

The terrapin is life affirming. What a show. First one ever, Did not disappoint. Uncle John was a personal highlight, and the sugar>fire was everything I could ever want. Mind =blown

Only ONE thought or observation on this show will stick with me forever: JM CLEARLY approached BW @ the boys with a confession, a dream, a thought, and a favor. JM is now a huge GD historian. He knows Jerry in ways we don’t and we know JG in ways he won’t ever.
With no doubt I guarantee that JM asked the band if tonight he could take his parts somewhere new He feels like the music is his now 2 and he wanted to party with it his way. He studied ALL the tapes we traded
