lived it and loved it (8/16/2007 1:30:05 PM)
Another blow your mind show. My 5th time seeing these guys and they get better every show. They played without a break for 3 hours! These guys are the real deal with some blow your mind performances. They are some of the best crowd pleasers I have ever seen. Rock on UM!

This was the first time i was ever honored enough to see them in concert i drove 19 hours and every second of driving was worth it!! they absolutly blew me away. you could feel the love pouring out of them into the crowd(the crowd was amazing there anyway) but they knew how to hit your musical mind and your earlobes hot spot that for sure. i am a fanatic for life, to the point where i would compare umps performance to everything else i saw after that umps and bob are neck and neck but umps took me by suprize for sure:)

melt my face (8/7/2007 3:35:25 AM)
This is probably one of the most intense umphrey`s shows i have ever been to, starting with the amazing Utopian, Jajunk was insane, and i especially loved the making flippy floppy into glory, it just kept building and building into some ungodly place that had everyone going crazy and the glowsticks just a flying, and what about their new song wizard burial ground, siiiiick.... like i said, the whole set was just a face melter, thursday was definately an all night dance fest especially with bisco right after.
speaking of bisco, anyone happen to tape that show? that was another gem.

Umphrey`s is where it`s at. Hands down, Umphrey`s and Bisco threw the sickest dance parties at 10KLF! The Utopian Fur was absolutely incredible and the Flippy Floppy was wild as hell!!! All I hope is that Umphrey`s brings the dance party to South Bend in August. St. Pat`s Park needs a good dance session. Keep it comin` fellas!!!! Buy this show immediately!

What a show! I agree with the others, it was most mind boggeling experience. They just screw with your head and they are so damn good that know it. (It`s like when that hot chick can play your a** because she knows she can!) The UM Buzz at this festival was the strongest out of any show. I heard people talking about it all the way thru the weekend. Even when I left on Sunday. My prediction: Next year, Main Stage 2 sets - on Friday Night.

This show is a must have for any UM fan. Let me begin by saying that this year`s 10KLF was the best festival I have ever attended. Great lineup - great setlists by everyone. Weather was untoppable. That said, this has to be at least ONe of the musical highlights of the festival. I won`t say it was the best set - Particle, Galactic, Keller, Ratdog and Toubab Krewe threw down some pretty spectacular sets, as did Warren and Derek Trucks. This show is off the hook though.
As much of an Umphrey;s fan as I am, I often walk away from their festival sets a little disappointed. Normally they pale in comparison to a normal UM show. Whether it`s the length, schedule or whatever - I`ve been happy but not stoked with their sets at the last few Bonnaroos, last years Allgood, and others. 2004 Bonnaroo, 2005 Summercamp and 2005 Allgood are exceptions.
This is a phenomenal show with that starts with a near 30 min Utopian Fir, Division bookends, two great stews and my favorite version thus far of Wizard Burial Ground - a song I`ve become really excited about.
You should download it, and don`t dick around on this one - get the sbd.
