Reviews for Widespread Panic: 9/27/2006 Charlottesville Pavilion, Charlottesville, VA

Lighten up Casey. This show was sick. Even moderate panic fans would get off to this show. 4 songs from Space Wrangler? This is a night to remember. Sam Holt is an awesome guitarist and did a fantastic job finishing off the tour this year. I hope he always stays close to the band and that we can see him and Jimmy on stage together as often as possible.

As far as I`m concerned, Jimmy as well as George blow away Mikey. Check out Jimmy at this show and you`ll understand.

The encore didn`t really do it for me. A) Outformation were disappointing for me, so I wasn`t glad to see their guitarist come back out--despite JB`s great introduction of his person, and B) I couldn`t stop wishing for Can`t Get High. Overall a dank show with Dave in top form, as well as Domingo and his guests during Drums (even though they too were Outformation alums). Jimmy was amazing, but it was a group effort that carried this show. Old Joe, too: don`t hear that often. And they did it very well. Ain`t Life Grand got the best crowd response and I don`t know if the download captures it. Great show but not their best. I`m still in love with the October 23rd show in Richmond Virginia, 2003.

Great show, Postcard Encore incredible. Any coincidence XM Deep Tracks played Postcard that afternoon? Thank you WP, Jimmie is a great addition. I`m hooked! See you SOON!
