Not the hottest or funkiest show but the fellas find a laid back, gently swinging groove and then stay locked into it. This works beautifully on Candyman, Iko Iko, and He's Gone. Some oddities: Jerry plays over most of what's banded here as Drums, they play PITB in reverse, and close Set 2 with a surprisingly straightlaced cover of DayTripper. Interesting night. ***1/2

First show ever. Rushed to front and ended up in front row near a red t-shirt Jerry. I remember thinking “that’s what all the fuss is about “ after the Music opener. CCCC is an awesome venue, small and intimate for a hockey rink. Show cooked along nicely with the surprising Day Tripper ending. Rumor is that the whole band was tripping, inspiring the choice. Great beginning to many more shows.
