Reviews for Grateful Dead: 2/19/1985 Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center, Oakland, CA

It’s interesting because it sounds like the audio issues in the first song were a splice of an audience recording because maybe the main soundboard recording failed or cut out. Other than that great recording and good energy.

After some sound issues with the first song, the band really plays a banger of a first set. Great 85 show!

Solid '85 Dead Lot of frenetic energy laced between the seams of this show Oakland outing. Some heavy Phil Bombs and a lot of harmony. Think the musicianship around the mid 80s hit a different note. There's an exploratory steal without the launch and landing. Each scene you have with the Dead is a beautiful experience and 2/19/85 is no exception. This show is a real love letter to the fluid spirit of the Dead. Don't sleep on it baby x
