It’s hard to pick a winner from the TX run. All four shows are solid B+ shows with a few good jams, interesting new material, and decent set listing. Dallas keeps the vibing going with a strong first set. Search is loose and energetic with an awesome segue into Can’t Stop Now. Black and White has a unique jam that strays from the typical funk direction and has more of a subtle trance vibe, and Trip the Light Fantastic continues to be a reliable high energy psychedelic jam vehicle. If you like grassy Nershi driven jams you will enjoy the segue into Jessica as well as the pre jam leading into CBS. The new Jason tune has potential. Lyrically it’s great, but might have a better impact if Kang took over on the vocals. Looking forward to listening to the CO>Flagstaff run!
