12/28/79 is electrifying.
It steamrolls out of the station and along the track in a direction of it's very own.
It's got that familiar energy from '76-'78 with some real vibe cuts and some real scene stealers with a lot of innovative choices. Man it'll take you places. Far out places.
The Music Never Stopped is a drop on its own. It's a puncher baby and a pusher. It keeps you real jiving for the fix and this is as satisfying as Boston '77.
Less frenetic but more precise. The note bending from Jerry against the devils keeping that track laid. It's a real thunderstorm. Alabama Getaway is delivered at the traps and it really hits. GSET is a quick, slick launcher before Terrapin Station brings it to an easy land...only for PITB to bring us back up
Man don't take my word for it...check it out x
