Road Trips Volume 3 Number 2. This is out there. What an experience. The vibes at Texas. Everyone is on fire. It's got a real punch. Delivered. Sweet. Truckin' gets the mood just right. We lift. We stay high. What a long strange trip it's gonna be... A trip through a motivated and enthusiastic Bertha. You can really feel Keith here. 15/16 shows into his time with the Dead. Playing in the Band keeps the momentum like a swift, warm breeze. The octaves. The tempo. Both Sets. Perfect. One of the best cuts of Deal, Jack Straw and Loser. Really takes your head to a place. Dark Star>El Paso>Dark Star is an experience that you can't get over... would you want to? Real scene. Vibes baby. Set Two smokes. The playing stays slow. But it's fire. '71 Dead is a love letter to the energy. Frenzy. The inspo. This is the finest example of that musical synchronicity between the band. Don't sleep on it x
