Stella Blue is a clean, deep mover. It's delivered. One of the greatest cuts. Underrated show. Tight and confident. Far out. Man what a real treat listening to 08/14/79. Thursday, with the Dead...out there baby.

Stagger Lee sounds unreal here

This was a rainy week in Denver (my hometown). I just listened to the 13th from McNichols…solid show but not Red Rocks. Looking forward to reliving the 12th and 14th as well,

It’s a rainbow full of sound

This is the first Easy To Love You. Overall an ok show compared to the two previous nights which were both great. 8-12 has been released. One of the most interesting parts of this show was the life-sized skeleton statue on stage. It held a giant brass ring above its head. It lent the show a memorable quality, Later in the year I saw the sculpture in front of a store in Boulder.
