Oakland Auditorium Arena — 12/27/79 Night two of the '79 New Year's run, and the fresh Brent era is firing on all cylinders. A crisp "Jack Straw" sets the pace, a soaring "Deal" closes Set One. Set Two opens hot — a classic "China > Rider," a bouncing "Eyes of the World," then a massive 13-minute "Saint of Circumstance" pushing the limits before settling into a soulful "Black Peter" out of Space. Double encore seals it. Crisp. Brent-era heat. Quintessential late '79.
