Madison Square Garden, New York — 9/15/88 Night two. The momentum holds. Set One swings hard — "Hell in a Bucket > Sugaree" out of the gate, then Bobby unfolds eleven minutes of "Desolation Row" like he means every word. "Deal" closes the half on fire. Set Two is the full ride. "Samson" opens heavy, "Crazy Fingers" floats, then the "Playing > Uncle John's > Playing" sandwich locks the room in. Space gives way to Brent slowing everything down with "I Will Take You Home" — and then the doors come off. "Watchtower > Goin' Down the Road > Love Light" is a demolition job. "U.S. Blues" sends New York home grinning. Nine shows. Two down. The Garden isn't letting go yet.

Blows the previous night out of the water. The first set is a blast from front to back and the second set is well-played, albeit without too much excitement in the jam department. Great '88 show.
