In a lot of ways this isn't the greatest show - an hourlong showcase played at Winterland back when Bill Graham enforced a time limit - but complaining feels churlish, as there is so little 1967 Dead out there, and even less in this quality of sound. The second-known performance of That's It For The Other One, with a wildly extended Cryptical reprise, is the highlight here, but really it's about hearing the early Primal Dead on the cusp of the ANTHEM OF THE SUN era.
