Reviews for Grateful Dead: 11/10/1967 Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA

There’s something in Jerry’s playing pre 70s that just get me. It’s fast, high energy, and rough. Something that is totally different than what we hear from Jerry in the later years. That drop from alligator into caution just gives me goosebumps hearing it. And that potatoe caboose is just perfect. The 60s although lacks the set variety of the other eras of the dead, makes up for the most intense, high octane, and trippy music the dead had ever played. You haven’t lived if you haven’t tripped out till ur nonverbal while listening to a pre 70s pig pen era 20 minute caution.

I love listening to these old Pig Pen recordings…. There’s some real hidden gems here like “Good Morning Little School Girls” you can’t hear anywhere else…. I love this app!!! ???????????
