Heard this dark star on channel 23 yesterday and had to see if this show was on play dead, what a build up ??

An excerpt from only the second show Keith Godchaux ever played with the Grateful Dead, and this is certainly the most interesting part of it. Keith is both mixed *very* prominently AND has hasn't come close to settling on a tonal approach yet, and this is a good thing b/c you get to hear him experimenting, filling the spaces with notes and sheets of sound. Keith's first-ever "Dark Star" and a totally unique performance.
