Epic, live wire, turn-on-a-dime jamming with the fellas (and Donna) locked in start to finish. In other words, a typical night in 1973. The passage that connects Truckin and Dark Star starts off as the Billy and Phil show, then turns very Spanish before getting mega spacey. Appending a four-minute Dark Star to a 20-minute jam feels like the band saying, "This has been Dark Star, thanks for listening." LOL ****1/2 Keepers: Truckin > Jam > Dark Star
