The opening date on the Dead's legendary Fall 1973 tour, this is arguably one of the most 'complete' concerts they ever played - a wild "Playing In The Band," a "Dark Star" -> "Morning Dew" suite that captures the first-ever "Mind Left Body Jam," and an ENCORE with "Eyes Of The World" fading into "Stella Blue." This was universally praised upon release as Dick's Picks 19 and with good reason. Still an ideal place to begin with 1973.
