Reviews for Grateful Dead: 9/24/1976 William & Mary Hall, College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA

A Merle influenced Jerry had the Boys barreling towards Jazz Fusion with their Blues for Allah:Suite(Help>Slip>Franklin). Our show’s 2nd set spoke to it as a Fiddler’s choice with our 1st set holding down fave covers from Berry to Cash.Jazz themes would continue to pay dividends as Tenor player Bradford Marsalis joined the Band in playing Eyes of the World on Without a Net.The Dead’s rejuvenated energy was a bellwether of what was coming in ‘77.
