Reviews for Grateful Dead: 5/25/1977 The Mosque, Richmond, VA

I was in utero within a few miles of the Mosque for this show. Brain development, movement, and the refinement of the 5 senses are among the important fetal advancements in the late stages of pregnancy. There is no definitive proof, save my outstanding dancing skills and love of great music, but clearly I was influenced from an early, early age.

Her Scarlet Begonias had a touch of the blues ??

The Richmond Show gives you syncopated musicianship with incredible vocal harmonies. This show is among 19 in that May ‘77 run.In those 30 days the Barton Hall and Buffalo shows have gotten Best Ever nods with K and D performing at their peak. And as luck would have it my School was in that run!

Always nice to revisit this show, also loved the artwork as this was the date Star Wars came out!

Bought tickets at the box office afternoon of show. Snagged a pair 5th row left directly in front of Jerry. Such a great venue. Underrated amongst all of the great the Spring 1977 east coast shows.

One of my absolute favorites. A picture perfect show from start to finish.

Even by the standards of May 77 this one is a monster. Great energy, great sound, the Good ol’ Grateful Dead
