Sound quality aside, the GSET is an absolute beast. Which makes me wish for better sound quality but still. It’s a BEAST.

Love to find a matrix or two, I enjoy hearing the room (or lawn) tone and it gives the feel of being smack in the middle of the crowd

End of Bird Song gets good gnarly, Shakedown great as usual, Estimated also gets out there, nice Black Peter.

The sound quality of this recording reflects what a SBD cassette sounded like back in the day. The Matrix is a nice touch and provides the feel of what it was like at the Frost. I don’t mind it all, keep ‘em coming. This was the era when I started seeing shows so I’d love to see more!

I disagree with the inferior sound quality, I love the HS Matrix feel on this one. It’s very airy and sounds like it would at the show. Phil is never lacking in the subwoofer, I like this show. Very high energy for a West Coast ‘83 show. Bird Song as always major standout.
