Such an energetic opener. Really strong out of the gates with Shakedown>Hell. Second set with its Estimated >Scarlet>Crazy Fingers>Playing sequence is a mind melter. Brent is absolutely on fire on this glorious spring evening. Garcia’s use of his MIDI is always a highlight. Such a great summer tour closer. This is the summer that I got on the bus. The sights, sounds and the smells are burned into my brain. Garcia sounds crisp, alert and most of all Happy.

I have no idea why I don’t hear more about this show. Actually the first set is not as great as others from the tour and the post drums is a bit of a let down. This was the last night of spring 90 so the guys were probably pretty tired by then. But this pre drums section is amazing. Not only is the playing great but you just don’t see these songs in this order. Unique? Not sure but I can’t think of another show with these(all in my top ten songs) played in this order. Anyways I love it!!

From the first notes of a fast paced shakedown to a killer encore, this show from spring 90 does not disappoint. Great sound quality as well brings this show to life.
