Maybe the best piece of music ever. Opening acoustic set showcases the Dead’s Americana hippy vide, and it’s a great performance with Jerry leading the way. Then you got a second set with intense and improvisational jams. Check out the first half of Cryptical Envelopment — some of the most pretty, melodic music you’ll hear. A bit later you get a relative rarity in Cosmic Charlie. All that would qualify for a best-ever nomination. But then Jerry goes Morning Dew > Viola Lee Blues and a We Bid You Goodnight encore. Probably the best show ever.

Incredible Viola Lee Blues. Love the transition from Acoustic to Electric. Understand how this ranked in the Tapers Top 10 Real far out x
