It sounds to me like Marlon doesn’t completely know each song he’s playing, so it’s a constant eggshell walk through each of the changes, which makes it difficult to listen to. I hope they figure it out.

Listened up to this show, thus far. Marlon’s getting into the grooves and is picking it up quickly - jazzy, funky, and getting into exploratory jams. Heavy lifting from the “new guy.” Solid show. Parts of this show are saved for my Thanksgiving Day cooking playlist. HAB AND THE NEW — Woohoo!
