It’s been a pleasure watching Spafford grow and evolve. Cory and Shon have really settled in and seem right at home now. All four are individually incredible and gelling together like never before. No shade thrown on previous members but the band is soaring to new heights on a nightly basis. Of the 10 shows I’ve now seen them play in Portland, this is my personal favorite. Song selection and jams just tickle all my fancies. Shout out to Chuck’s poetry too. Keep it coming. And I love that they finished Galisteo Way after the drunk dude fell into the PA last year, cutting the encore short (aside from audience belting it out to completion). Please keep coming back to Portland. We’ll keep showing up. Thanks for all your hard work. Love you guys.
