One of the better 1-set shows during a slow part of the summer. U of I did an awesome job with putting this one on. No gates and bring in whatever you want. Even the soundcheck served as a nice 50-minute appetizer before the main course (my full soundcheck vid is on YouTube). Come for the Pancakes and stay for the Creatures! A Shama encore was the cherry on top.

Took my daughter and invited my very freshman nephew who hadn't heard of them. His first jam band show. Sadly, the poor boys' mind broke about half way through the set. Sensory exhaustion. He has since recovered, but was changed by the experience. And yeah, that creatures was off the chain.

This show was a heater of a first Goose show for me. Literally almost every song I wanted to hear. Hot Tea was next level
