This entire day was one of my favorite memories I will have for a show for many reasons. My wife and I took my kids to the 1st set that was geared for kids and it was a beautiful site to see how many parents brought their children and how much fun they were having. I dropped them off at home after the set and drove to the night show and went solo but as soon as I entered the room I knew a handful of people. The vibes were suep chill from the get go. once the band got on stage the room was beyond packed it was a sold out show and it looked like everyone made it. Song 2 "Look Johnny" they dropped into the solo section and sounded so locked in and they meant business. Jimmy blew my mind with the solo in this one he sounded so mature as a guitar player and played a very heart felt solo. He let the jam breathe and he took charge of every note he played. Jimmy was definitely "on one" this show he was being the true leader he is and sounded above and beyond. The jam section in "Hesitate is not worthy this jam was also too tier. The next Jimmy solo that still has me get dog bumps is his solo to end set 1 with "Bent Strange" . He once again let his solo breath and I felt every note he played. it was a heroic way to end set 1 that's for sure! The "Green Earrings" was cool with Mike Gantzer sitting in , it had a ton of flavor and funk. Chop Shop followed this up and had the entire room raging it was epic. "Lazy Susan" the second last song to end set 2 and again a top tier Jimmy solo that I felt every note that man played and the entire room seemed to feel the same. very very powerful solo to lead into "Thomas Duncan PT 3 that was a great version and Jimmy lighting up the room to end the set. they encored with "Say Something " that was a Bluesy Groove to end the night ! 11/10 show here! The pups were on FIRE!

The first set was a 4:00pm set for the Junior Jerry Jam, kid friendly set.

This was my first show coming out to see the Dogs! Seen two other times with Pigeons. The show was fantastic EXCEPT! The venue was oversold and I had to stand on the patio. Sound was pretty darn good once they opened the patio door. Highlights: when they opened the patio door, Green Earrings. I don't know any of these songs and this show didn't help very much.
