This sounds like an incredible show! Harkens back to Branford's appearence with the Dead in the early 90s. So fluid a musician, branford just flows through his transitions and builds on the improvisational prowess this amazing band.

This has got to go down as the best post-GD show yet!!! Warren has really smoothed out his tone.. He's really got that west coast liquid, bubbly guitar jammin' sound going, yet puts his own stamp on it.. Friggin' GORGEOUS jams with Branford!!!! This show(listening) REALLY takes me back for the first time...... This show is FOR REALZ! Get this, sit back and go for the ride. It'll leave you with a MASSIVE sh*t eating grin on your face!!!!!!!
See ya'll at the Gorge!!!!!

I've heard about 3/4 of the show on this tour, and this is by far THE SHOW to download. Branford, as always, takes this band to great new spaces, but I'm even more impressed by how adventurous the band itself is. They are tight, energetic, and exploring this stellar setlist like, dare i say it, the old days. Honestly, there's not one clunker in the bunch. Bobby sounds great, no major flubs, which is quite the feat these days! Branford adds more color and texture, making this a truly psychedelic excursion (don't forget to check out drums>space!!). Thanks so much to the excellent quality recordings!
