I remember the bootleg CDs of this Halloween show circulating way back in the day! Unofficial, it was just the Beatles section of the middle set titled “The Unsurpassed White Album.” The sound quality was bad but it was still cool. I’m super pleased Phish has released the entire show with sound quality much improved (yes, I’ve gone back and compared). It’s great to hear the sets of Phish’s own material sandwiching their spectacular rendition of the White Album.

Welp… I’ll say it. This is the best Phish concert I have ever heard. It has everything a phan craves: rare bust outs, classical covers, and GAMEHENDGE all in one..What I would give to go back in time and experience Phish 1.0 ??
