We flew into Kauai for our annual trip on NYE. Prior to leaving home, I checked to see if there was anything happening, so I decided to buy VIP tickets, since the cost benefited the Island Initiative and Surfrider Foundation and so I could see Bobby's pre-show in the clubhouse. We were in the clubhouse for the Wolf Bros set and missed Taj and Mike Campbell and the Knobs. It rained for much of the second set, but I was content in my chair and poncho. The band was on fire and Bobby was in great voice. Fire dancers put on a great show too.

Sounds like a magical night. Not a perfect recording but definitely not bad, either. Great lineup of musicians. Just wish I coulda been there. Would really love to hear from some folks that were able to attend this unique and special event. NFA RRR
