Coconut Phil, all five shows from this year`s Winter Carnival are amazing. If I had to rank them, it would go 1) 3-23, 2) 3-26, 3) 3-24, 4) 3-27, 5) 3-22. If you want to download one of the best ever String Cheese shows, copy and paste this link: http://www.archive.org/details/sci2000-11-18.dsbd.shnf That show and any other show from November of 2000 (and most of the soundboards are available for free at archive.org) are as good as it gets.

Great music, this is my first SCI show to be downloaded. I`m a Dead head, WSP, Moe freak. Any one got any suggestions on a killer show for me to jam to? Keep Jamming America. Coconut Phil. June 2, 2007.

Great setlist, but sloppy playing overall, especially in the transitions. IMO the 23rd and 24th were much better played, and if you really want to hear how Drew Emmitt meshes with SCI you need to go back to April 5-7, 2005.

Well after reading the reviews, it seems that many people thought this was the best night of the WC. Personally I loved it. This show had alot more energy than the previou night. Sand Dollar, African Skies were my highlights. And please don`t talk shit about them throwing down Shakedown Street.... It was great and definately a crowd pleaser. Drew Emmit is definately one of my favorite musicians and it was sweet to see him take the stage with the band. Also, I was definately waiting for that Howard, and I know you rider, was an excellent encore choice.
But, my cd-burner will not burn the second disc with the Howard on it, because it`s over 80 minutes total. So, I`ve had to burn the Howard onto the third disc.... Which kinda sucks.

Wow - what a wonderful WC! Thank you everyone who shared your love and came out for the best carnival since `99 (for me, anyway). It seems to me that the loving vibe and the band`s energy is fueled by knowing that we all came together for this experience and, though we might miss it, it`s exciting to move on to a new chapter in our lives. I`m just greatful that I have been part of something so powerful. How about that freakin Rivertrance!?!?!? Smiles, hugs.....

weird review crizzo, guess you just felt differently about the show. the dead songs look like coincidence to me. shakedown street is a random one, but i know you rider has always been in the regular rotation. tangled up in blue was only played because drew was there, and has nothing to do with jerry garcia. everybody has played that song. great show i thought. still sad that billy has decided to leave. its weird, because watching the shows it seems like nothing has changed since he announced it.
