The New Year's Run Part 5
Absolute smoking set from all the way through this show. The first set opens like most of these New Years shows with an obscure song in "Neck Romancer" and then it's off to a fine funk filled endless jam through "Strobelights and Martinis", "Cyclone", and the classic "Above the Waves". On paper the second set looks like a set of over played pieces, but the jams are indeed fresh and vibrant even tossing in a brief "Stir It Up" in "Magellan". The Disco Biscuits are alive and well I'm happy to report and this might be their best show of all of 2014. Great sound quality as well!
