KSC returns to the Windy City of Nashville for an unforgettable evening. 393 to start the night in honor of the grim reality of today’s gas prices. Quick little hint of gasolina. No breaks before Board Shorts. Brian goes on a rant about swimming through the Cisco food production universe or something. I haven’t the slightest clue. Louis applies what he learned from Keller into Checkin’ Out. Pretty sweet sax solo and drum break. Shout out to The Great Outdoors for kicking off the night. How Can It Be is about the trees. Great crowd participation in Expiration date, especially for Nashville folks who tend to be a little…..stiff. Louis has a crazy voice crack, he needs to hit the nebulizer. Planet Earth referenced.
Louis welcomes the wonderful, talented, and funny Marty Schwartz. A guitar teacher to many, a father to all. He left Brian hanging lol. To start, a song Louis wrote from him and his egg shaped head: Marty Song. He takes a rippin solo through his amp that was a gift from the Sheikh of Quatar. Space is the Place has a lil Imperial March tease initiated by Marty. Funky Cat also written about Marty. Ben teases Smoke on the Water in honor of all the guitar teachers out there. Marty’s blues chops are out of control. Ben could learn a thing or two ;). Wasted ending has a SOAD feel. Brian gets extra angry at the end. And then he ruins the surprise of the Crab Surprise encore.
