KSC’s final show at Baltimore’s legendary 8x10 and it’s crazy, lots to dissect. Porridge encore the night before in Cville but some guy messaged us on insta saying he’d buy hella merch if they opened with it in Baltimore. Maybe that’s a bad precedent to set, and I never looked at those numbers, but opening with porridge is pretty sick regardless of his intended patronage. Shout out to Gordon Sterling and the People who opened the show. They played an excellent rendition of the Beatles’ “Come Together” and Ben briefly teased it in Porridge. Wineglass Television for Zoe on her birthday. Maybe that’s also a bad precedent to set but what a great second song to keep the energy up. It’s all about the trust. Wineglass went to some cool exploratory places. I am the wheel could happen to anybody, except Brian. Louis hands Ben the baton in Lunar Dude.
Thanks to Jake’s uncle Russ for buying the band tequila shots. They earned it. Short Skirt starts low key and slowly builds up, probably to accommodate the tequila shots. Sweet jammed out ending too into a drum solo. First Deep Blue Sea in a long time. Fan request, not the Porridge briber though. It’s Island time baby. Brian conducts the annual Plants survey, airing live right now. We have a string of hearts tattooed on all of us. Quality Crab Surprise. Wet Leg cover to keep the audience moist. First Doctor Worm of 2026, the band worked out some rust in Steamboat a couple weeks later. Funny stuff. Brian nails his solo which is the most sacred part tbh. Real talk Brian preaches not selling national forests in Tightrope. Call back to trees. Health emergency mid song and everybody remains calm. Back to song. Progress! Ben takes lead vox on Cali 24. Cool jam post guitar solo, some whole tone, some ostinato, and then some Fatboy Slim?? Brian ensures audience you can still have fun when you’re pissed off about the world. Shoutout to Brian’s aunts and uncles and friends.
Cars> Melting Lights in honor of PPPP’s hometown of Baltimore. Come see them together in Buffalo in April 24, 2026. ¡Ay, qué pena! encore per audience request.
