Lots of good humour abounds at this second evening in Philly with some real surpises in the general cut and thrust. Frying Pan gives way to an undulating pattern of chugging beats with minimal notes arcing over the top. Ade laughs as they come to the end of the first improv after ProzaKc Blues following his delivery of spindly threads and lines, while the P3 team quickly fly in to whip things up, though this isn’t one of their best. There’s also a bonus improv to Cage which has a gravity that the piece sometimes misses out on. ET eye-witness Tim Forster recalls “As they were about to play Dinosaur, Adrian inadvertently started an Improv, which was to follow. Trey whispered "We're doing Dinosaur...". Adrian said "Whew, thanks for telling me!" and proceeded to play the opening swells of Dino... Between songs, someone yelled "Easy Money!" Robert paused (oh no!), then flung his hands in the air, casting an imaginary rope over an imaginary limb, tied this imaginary rope around his neck, pulled upwards and gave a mock choking sound (and a smile). Much laughter and applause!”
